Things To Consider If You're Moving ..... Private Landlords!?!

MOVING!?!
.... this is the time of the year people start apartment hunting .... things to be considered when viewing places owned by private landlords:

1) check hallway vents for left-over dust particles (indoor air quality);
2) check laundry room to see if floor is clean (maybe building is not being cleaned);
3) when viewing apartment, check floor vents for dust (indoor air quality);
4) check kit...chen and washroom overhead vents for built-up dust (indoor air quality ... ventilation); 5) check windows for white water mold build-up (signs windows aren't sealed properly);
6) check water pressure (water issues);
7) check to see if there are keys to all building doors (security/safety issues); and
8) talk to people who live in the building (truth).

 WHY!?!
Because ...

1) Super will not tell the truth about building;
2) Private-Owned Buildings Not Monitored for indoor air quality ("It's a grey area.");
3) It's not true you get what you pay for because rent is too high ... First and Last plus Moving Expenses can be a bit much for people of low-income. ; and
4) I'm just saying. *#IndoorAirQuality ... Sounds Like An Issue For Upcoming Elections . . . Private Landlords Should Be Held Responsibility For Indoor Air Quality .... Health Issues.*  ~ Gloria
