Update ... Beautiful People Who Give A Sh*t!

Update:

I started out (five months ago) helping a young mom and her children escape a domestic violence situation. And since that time, she has been unable to afford to move into her own home where she can have a second chance to raise her children and live a violence-free life.

 

Recently she learnt that due to the physical abuse, she sustained  internal injuries and now must have cosmetic surgery to repair the damage.

 

Fortunately, some amazing and supportive friends decided to 'help me help someone' and today I give 'bear hugs' and 'shout-outs' to these compassionate and generous individuals: Ai Sha A; Erin Keaney; Kenny Robinson; Dave Merheje; Joshua Elijah; Kate Davis; Precious Chong; The Flying Beaver; and to all who have shown such endless support to help this mom and her kids.

 

Ai Sha A  and I recently met with her to touch base on how things are going and help her with some paperwork and forms. She and the kids are doing well. We informed her about the event and all the support; she gives her sincere thanks for all the help she is receiving. I will keep everyone informed on her condition (she is scheduled for cosmetic surgery in the coming weeks).
