Jane and Finch Community Agroecological Educational Workshops



Free for residents of the Jane and Finch community! Black Creek Community Farm series of Agroecological Educational Workshops engages participants in hands-on and "popular education" style learning and sharing opportunities.

Where: Black Creek Community Farm, 4929 Jane St.

When: Tuesday evenings 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm on June 11, June 25 and July 16

Space is limited, please reserve a spot by e-mailing blackcreek@everdale.org

Schedule:
Tues. June 11: "New World gardens: World farmers growing World crops in the GTA"
Tues. June 25: "Collective strategies for community food sovereignty" sovereignty"
Tues July 16: "Telling stories of our co-evolution with our environment, plants and animals"

These workshops are free for residents of the Jane and Finch community and surrounding areas, and those living outside but working and growing within the community (Dufferin to 401, and Wilson to Steeles).
